The Other Guys:
In this
action packed comedy, I switched Mark Walberg for John Reilly. I did this
because John Reilly and Will Ferrell are the “magic comedy duo” says New York
Times. They struck gold in Talladega Nights when it made $47,042,215 million dollars in
the first week of showing and soon rose to box offices #1. Step Brothers is another movie Will Ferrell
and John Reilly started in together two years after the release of Talladega
Nights. Step Brothers was an even bigger success then Talladega Nights, making $128,107,642 million dollars in the
first week. The Other Guys was not as successful as Step Brothers making about
$100,000,000 in the first week. The increase in money made from Talladega
Nights to Step Brothers, leads me to believe that if Will Ferrell and John
Reilly started in another funny movie together the money made would seriously
increase! This is why I switched John Reilly for Mark Walberg.
The Dilemma:
In this comedy I switched Adam
Sandler for Kevin James. I did this for multiple reasons. This movie is a
comedy, Adam Sadler is “One of the best comedic actors of his time” says USA
Today. So why not put Adam Sandler in this COMEDY? Also, the Dilemma was
disappointing in the box office making around $70,000,000 million. Almost every
movie Adam Sadler has done makes above the money the Dilemma made. Putting Adam
Sandler in the movie would raise money made and possibly make for a better over
all movie.
