Magic Johnson has always been a successful man. During his basketball career he was a twelve time NBA all star, three time league MVP, three time finals MVP, he has won five championships, and has many more achievements to his name. When Magic got the HIV virus he used his status as a superstar to his advantage and became the face of HIV/AIDS. Magic knew many kids look up to celebrities like him so he used that to get young people's attention. Magic's number one goal was to inform kids about the various ways to get the HIV virus. Magic got HIV from unprotected sex so he used his status and fame to preach safe sex.
I liked how you included how Magics success as a basketball player helped him become the face of AIDS/HIV and brought attention to the serious subject.
